Artists showcased at Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS) will now automatically join the European Talent Exchange. Coordinated by ESNS, the European Talent Network connects emerging artists with a network of around 130 partner festivals across Europe and beyond.
The European Talent Exchange has said that artists who performed at ESNS26 have confirmed 256 shows for 115 European artists at 73 partner festivals across 28 countries. These artists span 32 countries, says the exchange.
Among the artists who performed at ESNS and who are now playing festivals across the summer are Joshua Idehen from Sweden, Dove Ellis from Ireland, Florence Road also from Ireland and GANS from England.
Filip Košťálek, Artistic Director of Colours of Ostrava, said: “We believe festivals are about discovering fresh new music and giving emerging artists the chance to connect with new audiences.
Especially in the age of technology and AI, it is crucial to experience these artists live at the beginning of their careers. European Talent Exchange and Eurosonic Noorderslag help us identify some of the most promising acts and see them perform in person.”
