The cancellation of Wireless comes after the US rapper was denied entry to the UK.
Festival Republic releases a statement following the home office’s decision to deny Ye entry to the UK.
The American rapper Ye has also since released his own statement addressing his performance at the London summer festival.
The new additions include changes to the categories and judging criteria and a brand new daytime conference with the ‘Festival Focus’.
Originally billed as the Pepsi MAX presents Wireless Festival, the event is being headlined by the US rapper.
The ‘celebration of Brazilian music’ festival brings Brazilian culture to Leyton Jubilee Park on 22 May 2026.
The newly announced acts join the likes of Groove Armada, 2manydjs, Gilles Peterson, Nightmares On Wax, Mr Scruff & MC Kwasi and more.
The festival will encompass “an eight-month season of events celebrating Black British music” with four co-curated weekenders.
Taking place in Finsbury Park from 10-12 July it will be the rapper’s first UK performance in 11 years.
Beyond the Music has announced its move to MediaCity, Salford from 7-9 October, with keynotes and performances from emerging artists.
